Recently came across a new Microsoft utility called Outlook Configuration Analyzer Tool (OCAT). This utility works in a similar way as Microsoft Exchange Best Practices Analyzer, but is looking for issues in local Outlook configurations.
It works with Outlook 2007 and 2010, so if you are still on Outlook 2003 you are out of luck. Unfortunately this tool doesn’t work over network, which means you have to install and run it on a local computer to diagnose the Outlook issues. Nevertheless is can be a useful tool in your basket diagnosing Outlook related client issues.
- Download OCAT from Microsoft Download Center
