When installing or uninstalling Google Earth (or other software) you may get an error:

Product: Google Earth — Error 1327.Invalid Drive: X:\
Application Log ID: 11327

This happens if drive X: used to exist on your system, but has been removed.

To fix:
regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
Remove or change incorrect entries.
