Leaked screenshots show that Microsoft is working on a Metro / Modern UI version of its Skype app. Microsoft declined to comment on when this will be available to general public, but from other reports it looks like we won’t have to wait long. Unless Microsoft decides hold it off until general availability of Windows 8 on 26 October.
neowin.net managed to get hold of Preview version of Skype for metro and confirmed that app is pretty stable and looks almost ready for release.
