It’s not unusual for publicly accessible Remote Desktop (RDP) server to be constantly under brute force hacking attack. Although Windows security will delay unsuccessful login attempts making guessing non dictionary password pretty unlikely, it’s better not allow such password guessing in the first place.
2X SecureRDP is useful utility which helps to secure RDP servers. You can download it from here or from developer’s website.
Once installed and running 2X SecureRDP allows to restrict RDP connections based on IP Address, Host Name, MAC Address, etc.
