Issue
Trying to send bunch of jpg image files via Skype. Transfer fails to start and following error message is displayed:
File transfer limit
You cannot send any more files until your existing file transfers have finished.
Resolution
Above error message is somewhat misleading. There were no existing file transfers within Skype. The issue was caused by trying to send too many files at the same time.
Not sure what is the actual limit, but in this case I was trying to send 68 files. This must be a new limit (or a bug that will be fixed) within Skype as I remember previously sending more than 100 files with no issues.
The problem was resolved by compressing all images into a zip archive and sending as a single .zip file.
