Microsoft today finally made RTM version of Windows 8 is available to download for IT professionals and enthusiasts via TechNet and MSDN subscriptions.

This obviously doesn’t include RTM version of Windows 8, which will run on a low powered ARM based devices. Windows 8 RTM is expected to come only pre-installed on OEM hardware and won’t be available to buy or download separately.

Final version doesn’t seem to have major changes from Releaser Preview version released in May, apart from some cosmetic UI updates.

As announced previously, latest and the most controversial Microsoft Operating System will be released to general public on 26 October 2012.

UPDATE: If you don’t have MSDN or TechNet subscriptions, you can still download and try final version of Windows 8 Enterprise. Microsoft made 90 day evaluation version available to download from here. Be aware that this version will expire after 90 days and there is no way to upgrade.
